System architecture design, specifications and use-case |
WP2 deals with the design of PARALIA’s multi-sensor system, the definition of the system/device-level specifications and application use case scenarios. |

Photonic circuit design, development, and characterization |
WP3 is dedicated to the development of the optical component portfolio of PARALIA. |

LiDAR and RADAR prototype development and characterization |
WP4 concerns the fabrication and characterization of PARALIA’s lasers, the development of the Si3N4-InP interface and the design and characterization of the Multi-element RF antenna circuitry. Also, WP4 undertakes the fabrication, assembly and characterization of the RADAR and LiDAR subsystems. |

Multi-sensor system prototype development and validation |
WP5 is dedicated to the assembly and packaging of PARALIA’s multi-sensor prototypes and their experimental evaluation in automotive and aerospace scenarios. |

Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation |
Exploitation, standardization and market penetration activities will be conducted within WP6. Dissemination and communication activities are also foreseen withing this WP. |

Ethics requirements |
WP7 will encourage awareness within the project consortium of the potential ethical and social impacts of the technology developments to which PARALIA contributes. |
