The second review meeting of PARALIA project took place online on October 1, 2024. This important meeting was attended by all project participants as well as the European Commission project officer and two external evaluators. The main focus of the meeting was to evaluate the progress made in the first 18 months and to develop valuable recommendations for the next phase.

During the review, the work plan, deliverables and milestones of the project were thoroughly assessed. The external evaluators and the project officer provided critical insights and constructive feedback to ensure that the next phase of PARALIA remains on track and continues to achieve its ambitious goals.

On July 16^th, 2024 PARALIA's optical beamformer networks will be presented in an invited talk at the International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks, ICTON 2024. The title of the talk will be "Multi-beam Optical Beamformer PICs for LiDAR and RADAR Applications".

Οn May 14-15^th, PARALIA project was presented at the Photonics Partnership Annual Meeting 2024 in Brussels. Dr. Dimitra Ketzaki from the project's coordinating team at AUTH - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki presented PARALIA under WG4 - Climate, Mobility & Energy on the second event day.

Τhe PARALIA 3^rd consortium meeting was hosted online on Wednesday 17 April 2024. All partners had the opportunity to present their work and discuss progress and issues. A comprehensive plan for the next six months was also mentioned, before the partners meet again for the next meeting.
